Recently I had a rising number of chums write to me about my life in the East. In reading this piece of writing you can understand that the better part of your life might be in the East, and the perfect time is now. The theme of most retirement articles is the best spot to quit in the United States. But according to the AARP about eighty p.c of American citizens don't plan to move when they retire. Work a life-time, and with the door open to have a new start in retirement, one just stays in the same city, the same house, the same routine. There has to be a better standard of life in retirement, and there's! Recently more retirees aren't only moving from their house to another city or state, but are moving out of the U.

The motivations behind the questions have sundry from political discontentment to financial. Plenty of the concerns are related to the extreme price of living, including heating and A / C bills, taxes, corner shop bills, the price of gas, hospital bills, dental bills, house repair bills, and list keeps going. There isn't any doubt about it, the price of living in the States goes higher every day. Many of those that write to me aren't actually enjoying their twilight years but are just getting by. If you're in the stage of retirement planning or are now retired that should concern you, as every day is dear and we deserve to be enjoying life to its fullest. Travel with me down a different road of thought. I have resided in retirement for the last seven years in the East, in the beach resort city of Pattaya, Thailand.

Being a traveller destination, you right away picture an area with a stunning bay view, fine cafes, and entertainment galore. It is much more than just that. It's so straightforward to get round the town using public transport that my automobile is seated in the drive. We have modern malls, movie complexes, health spa's, fitness centres, golfing courses, and even an IT center with five floors of PCs, mobile telephones, and electronics. Pattaya hasn't one, but 2 Global Standard infirmaries. Medicare is cheap. Being a visitor town, the Thai staff in most stores and eateries talk English, German, Russian, and other languages. Language is not difficult, but learning a little basic Thai is both fun and helpful. A Hollywood film with English sound track, shown in a hi-tech theater costs around $2.50. A Thai food-bar meal runs around seventy five cents . We have clubs that meet weekly where the foreign community can get together. The glance just given is representative of life for foreigners in most Asian states. Why Pacific Rim? Because Far East is the most stimulating, the most well designed continent on earth. Luxury living for cents - not just 'getting by' on your retirement annuity. The US and Europe are becoming nearly unbelievably pricey to live and retire in. Find out more about the Asian states, which of them to think about for retirement, and why. If funds permit, plan a vacation trip to some of the nations of interest. Otherwise, the web is a useful source of info. Also, one can join a Net blog or group and gain info and tips from folks already living overseas. As I pointed out in my opening, the better part of your life may be in the East, and the perfect time is now.
